well today as i pull into the body shop i see my temp gauge shoot up i open the hood and i smell somthign sweet so i think i just blew my hg and or the thermostat is screwed

Ouch how many miles? on the ge I am assuming. If you need a hg lmk I have one that I wont be using it's just a OEM replacement.

dont jump to conclusions yet. its damn hard to get a BHG on a 2jz. if you had a 7m it would be as easy as looking wrong at the car in the morning

HAHA! That made me laugh pretty hard actually. I want to go outside and glare at my old supra and see if it goes. lol.

 

just cuz it overheats one doesnt mean you blew your gasket, no need to freak out yet. do a pressure test and find the leak

 

just a busted coolent hose thats under the tranny thank god i have to find out what hose it is so i can fix it i leftt he car at school in the shop
