AWESOME steering knuckle mod
For all intents and purposes it's a simple class 1 lever.
It is a shorter lever arm. It takes more effort to move, but it moves faster and further.
Because we have power steering you probably won't feel it takes any more effort.

Back from the dead... I would also like to know the cut measurements too please.
*update*
Cut 16mm out of mine. Measured angles before/after with my wheels no spacers I was at about 35 deg. After the mod I had a solid 45 deg with the tire as close to the control arm/ sway bar as possible. If I was not running 255's with the 9inch wheel I am sure you could remove 25mm or more to get upwards of 55 deg.
My 92 SC300 has TT supra LCA's/brakes/modified suspension. *On a side note the TT brake calipers gave me more clearance with the strut when going for more turn angle.
So to make clear I carefully had a 15mm (+2x .5mm saw blade) material removed closest to the outer knuckle. Had a IND tig welder with spacific rod welded. Gained a easy 10 more degrees.

I understand a very lil about cutting off my steering nuckles to give me more angle during a drift, but after watching both videos, I think the main reason you're not getting an angle you're looking for is because you're simply lacking a power delivery.
I'm not even maxed out in camber, and if I don't let go of the gas I would completely spin around, I have to feather lightly ikeeping my rear from coming around too fast.
