Making a better shift...even the throttle response
I came across a very interesting link about how to make our cars shift better, and firmer, by simply adjusting the transmission line on top of the throttle body. I read this from a link posted on planet soarer website by Peter Scott.
I have read several articles about disconnecting sensors on the transmission, and adjusting the TPS, but nothing as simple as this, and with great results. The article explains in step by step details. Well after reading the crap inthe beginning, it finally got to the good stuff. Its just simply removing the 3 10mm bolts on top of the trac plate, and adjusting the transmission line, for a firmer and stiffer shift. If you dont like it, simply put it back!
I tried it today and I must say its quite lovely. I dont have to push the gas pedal as far to get it to respond as quickly, and I believe it helped my throttle response. It also increased the rev by 100 rpm on my tac, it may be differ form yours. This may be an old thread, but I wanted to share my findings with everyone, cause I have heard bad things about the other 2 mods stated above. Let me know what you think and the outcome, if you decide to do it! Heres the link below.

This is the full version of all the mods, even to remove the annoying door chime! Enjoy!
