SC400 Problems

I replaced my transmission/TC about a few months ago and I too, am experiencing similar problems.
It was very noisy right before my old tranny failed. The noise has decreased a lot after my tranny swap but it's still audible if I put my ears near the center console.
It sounds like an electric motor whine.
2LexusSC430s: It really amazes me that the Lexus tranny is so fragile compare to its other components.
Mine failed at around 165k miles despite constant maintenances. Is it normal for SC
tranny to go out like this?
