Default Once you go 1JZ..

What are some good mods I could do right off the bat,
once I have my 1JZ-GTE installed?

EG: How much boost can the stock Turbos generate?
Could I buy a Boost Controller first thing, and push them a lil' bit, so I have more than factory power?

Or are there any other things I could do right away,
that'll help make some decent difference.. Perhaps larger Injectors?

Thanks!

Oh PS:
If I install my 1JZ does that mean I lose my Traction Control?
So should I install this Throttle with TRC instead of my OEM 1JZ Thorttle?
(See Pics)

listen its simple... FMIC, exhaust, HKS FCD, and SLD, intake of some sort, boost controller, walbro 255 intank, AFC and some tuning... should make 325whp with a very conservative tune @ like 15psi and you can keep the turbos healthy for a while... tuning is the key... this is est pwr through an auto btw... thats my take on it, worked for me for almost 4 years... and i pushed it further (350whp @ 17psi on a JZX90 motor)... GL with everything!

PS the traction control is a joke... just stab and steer!

Personally I would keep it. Unless you're super confident in your driving abilities, **** can always happen, and when it does, you are thankful you have that TRAC. Some people here like talking big...., I'd say keep it, you always have a button to turn it off if you want to.

He will not have TRC aftr the 1jz swap ,and you might not have ABS also but don't quote me on that.
Few guys had the ABS working and a few of US couldn't get it to work.

So its not a matter of simply installing that particular Throttle Body to have TRC enabled?

So youre saying it'll do me no good to purchase this TRC Throttle Body; 'cus I still wont have TRC..?

What makes a FMIC better than the original SMIC?
Is there a Hp gain?

Thats pretty much what I did and tuned the car on a AFC on stock boost...I would recommend changing the seals, head gasket, walbro fuel pump, water pump, belts and making sure the car is driving correctly first.

FMIC is better because it is mounted in the front of the car(front bumper) so that means when ur driving it collects as much air as possible to cool the turbo..and the piping aswell will be wider then SMIC piping..and yes u will gain a tad bit more hp..it also raises the boost!!!

Bottom line is unless your a bad driver you dont need it. And if you do need it, then you should learn how to drive.
I'm not going to bash you bro, but that is alot of big talk coming from you considering some of your past driving mishaps.

Regardless, I guess I'm a goober when it comes to driving, I've had one occasion where bad judgment + bald tires + wet roads = losing control. Had my TRAC been working that time, it would have compensated for my bad judgment and perhaps prevented my little curb smack from happening. Again, if he can get it to work, I suggest he install it. As I stated before, if he really wants to turn it off, there is always the button, but like you said Ryeno if you are a good driver, there is no need for it, but as I said, **** can happen and when that does happen, it's good to have a little assistance.
