No need for bluetooth!

Just found this out. I guess my wife wanted to listen to her mp3's on her phone so she connected it via cassette player. Then I call her just in time and she accidently answered. She said she can hear me through speakers... well duh~ I know that. But it gets interesting. The phone was on her lap and I can hear her crystal clear. Just letting you know especially if you have an SC and have Samsung Instinct. Not sure if it'll work with other phones. It's a nice feature since I hate carrying bluetooth with me.

yeah, works the same way with my nokia N95. i cant stand those bluetooth headsets.

I'm confused, how does the Bluetooth work in the car if the car doesn't come with Bluetooth?

its not bluetooth. The phone is plugged into a cassette mp3 thing, and it's coming out the speakers just like a song would. Crazy dude I gotta try this with my BB curve

Been doing this for a while on the sidekick. Usually have it hooked up for the mp3 anyways.

Got it. This is an interesting piece of information, but too bad my Motorola doesn't have the regular headphones port.

Yup crystal clear. Usually it's hard to hear clearly through a speakerphone even if you put it next you face. I tested it with it on the cupholder and it still worked lol. Man I love these old cassette decks.

Bluetooth sucks since you need to have 'em charged and and you can't do it in a car. Sound quality on those is ridiculous too.

Thats not true at all, i can charge mine anywhere, the sound quality is awesome and i can walk 50 feet away from the phone/car/house and talk on it. Mine charges with USB so i just have a small cigarette lighter adapter in the car incase it needs charged, usually if i charge it for 15min i can talk a couple more hours on it. You get what you pay for, the cheap $20 ones are junk, i use a JAWBONE and i couldn't be happier with it as i cant feel its on my ear and i can talk on the phone with a CD or MP3 playing in the background and i don't have big tacky ghetto wires hanging out of a crappy stock radio.

I guess next you will say how superior betamax is to blu ray since it wont skip during an earthquake.........
