searched but didn't find definite answer but my alternator went out on my 93 sc300 and i found a good deal on one from a 98 sc300 just needed to definitely if i could use if i switch out the connectors on the old one to the new one thanks in advance

 

If it was me I would go with the orig.

 

you mean get a reman alternator for the 93 than getting an oem one off the 98

 

Im sure the one from a 98 will have a diff plug, and the diameter may be larger as there are diff. amps.
