judging by the flexibility of this Shine product, this might really be my first kit for these awful New York City streets! it looks to be very close to a polyurethane stock part and that is exactly what i need in a body kit.

Yeah, it is actually illegal to remove the air bag if your car came with it, but most cops don't enforce it. I know plenty of people that have been pulled over with aftermarket steering wheels. The thing is air bags expire and are recommended to be replaced after 10 years and most SC's are already past that point.

I wouldnt really be worried about cops getting you for not having an airbag, the main concern with him car atleast is that insurance might void the claim in the instance it is involved in a crash. So just for something stupid like not having an airbag i might not get the value of my car if its written off. That would such so much its not funny.

from what i remember (use to work for one) the colored bumpers are better quality than the white ones, also fitment wise too. white body kits are the worse. ^^

cant wait to see the outcome

I am planning to get together with Rvaquino and do a Shine photoshoot.

Now that there are two more of you guys getting the kit, the more the merrier

Location that I have in mind is this building. We stumbled upon it a couple years ago and I have yet to shoot there

Where is that building? I've always wanted to know since the first time I saw that pic.

I was at the shop as of last week and all of the major dents have been filled in and the stock bumpers were off. The shop is a small mom and pop operation since the body man is the only guy that does the all of the work and his son stops by to help out in the after hours.

I brought the car in on the 29th of July and the estimated time in the shop is 3 weeks, plus or minus. He got some of the other cars out so my car should be the main one that he is working on so it should be done in no more than 2 weeks max.
