Question Buttons on the steering wheel??

I was just wondering, I was going through some pictures of different SC's and saw what I guess is a set of buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, I dont have them, so wanted to know if anyone could tell me what they are/function, thanks a lot!

Cool

I have them on my SC, they are controls for the factory-equiped cell phone. No use these days for the factory phone though, it's an analog dinosaur

I was able to install a motorola handsfree system for the timeport P7xxx series phones (GSM) the buttons are useless but I was able to use the factory wiring pretty much and the new mike fit into the steering wheel control box ...if you are somewhat technically adept you might chance it yourself since most installers will only do it as per the manufacturers directions

thanks... did you put the phone back in the arm rest or drill it on the side near the front passenger?

I put it in the armrest ...I kinda like the out of view look of the factory setup and coincidently the footprint of the new phone holder is the same as the old one
