95 compressor work on a 92 sc400

Default 95 compressor work on a 92 sc400

like the title say does it work or is the mounting brackets different?

Forget the bracket issue ... did you ever consider the fact that an original '92 compressor was designed for R-12 while the '95 was designed for R-134a? You will have to change out a lot of A/C parts to get that '95 comp to work ... including converting to R-134a.

If the only difference between the 92 and 95 ac compressors is 134a then all you will need to get is the accumulator and dryer and orifice tube. You will need to get the system flushed and then charged with 134a refrigerant oil and 134a itself.

Mine crapped out as well,
I was looking for a replacement A/C compressor. Fortunually for me, the previous owner conversed the system to an R134a.
Check on the fuse box in the engine bay to make sure it was retrofitted. if it was then any 93+ compressor will work
