I've recently converted my low beams and foglights to 6k HID's...Now I'm highly considering converting my highbeams to 6k HID's as well...Would that be too much overkill?

Overkill? Perhaps blinding the person in front of you and making them crash then maybe so LOL!...But otherwise pointless, since HID's take like 2 or 3 seconds to fully brighten up, there's really no point retrofitting them onto your highbeams...They'll only be useful, if you plan to have them on longer than a few minutes. Ironic how highbeams are more useful in the fog than that of foglights.
6000k in my lows and fogs, also they're some LED's I got off V-LEDs.. if you can find them they have 4 LED's firing around and 1 firing forward. They're also on ebay.. for less
