how do you guys get away with tint on the windshield?? thought that was illegal, or is that just a texas thing?

30%-Side Windows
5%-Eyebrow
5%-Rear Window
car is nice and cool in 103* heat today

haha same with me, i was told 5% but the cop registered it at 3% also followed by a ticket...

alot of places dont have the proper "tester" to test ur windshield just side glass so its fare game if they cant prove it. alot of people at our tint shop run 50% on the windsheild just fine but u guys push it with that 35% stuff. but our cops r tint ****'s around here

How much did you pay? I'm getting all different quotes in NY...$120...$250...I don't want **** tint that fades. I heard 3M is the good stuff, and getting it done in one piece is important as well. I think I'm going to go 20% all around.
