Okay guys, this topic pops up once in a while. As a New Yorker living in Texas, I can't take the heat anymore...I need advice on tint color.
My car is pearl white. Should I go with the classic black or the reflective? What about the metallics that were mentioned in the other thread by alexus? (What % tint was that again? )
Oh, also, I don't want to go extremely dark. I believe around 35% would be good for me.
I use Titanium tint 35% all around. Anything darker than this will not pass inspection in TX. The Titanium is a little reflective but with much higher heat rejection than regular tint. I'm happy with it.
Here is the pic you can see, it's not very dark but it definitely block out the Texas sun
