This is a pretty interesting DIY. Its something I'd rather not do on my own since I hate dealing with electrical. But you definitely get an "A" for effort. Awersome job.
I'm going to make my request (quoted above) again before having to close this thread. I most certainly do not want to do that, but if folks keep ignoring my request and posting needless rude personal commentary and attacks that is what's going to happen. I've removed those posts from this thread for the third time.
Comments that question the approach or have alternative viewpoints about risks that members should be aware of are fine to post as long as they follow these same rules. Responding to those posts to disagree is OK as well . Please just keep your commentary on the topic at hand and not trying to insult or malign the other member for stating their perspective.
Guys, this should not have to be said more than once. This is getting real old. Im getting ready to pull the plug on the next violator and delete (not close) this thread if it continues. Lets all show a little more respect and keep rude comments out of this forum.
It doesn't seem easy as it looks unless you're familiar with the LED, soldering..etc. But it can be done. Here are my clusters that I did them personally. The pictures were taken when the plastic covers were on. If the cover is off, the lights kind of blind me. The difference between a good quality cluster is it really shines during the daylight. I've seen some other custom clusters that get really dull during the daytime. I didn't have to use too many LEDs.
