I am installing a soarer cluster in my sc and am having issues w the wiring. When i plug all of the plugs in the car runs horrible something is wrong w the timing. My main issue is a plug located on the left drivers side near the fuses. What i am going to try to do is change the wires from one to another but i cannot get them out of the plug. Is it possible to get them out or do i just have to cut them off and splice? Thanks.

 

There's normally a double-locking plate inside the connector that you can either push down or pull out, or it might be on the bottom of the connector depending on the type. Then you use a mini-screwdriver to press the plastic tab down (the ones that are holding in the metal terminals) and pull the terminal out the back.

I just wanted to shout out Doc, and say thanks for getting the wiring harness back to me in a great turnaround time and helping me whenever i had any questions with my install. Everything works on my car great: temp gauge, tach, heat/ac, neutral safety switch. Pheonix tuning does a great job with the wiring!
