Have a 1992 SC400 and the radiator is cracked beyond a temp fix. I have researched and found that Koyo is a pretty good brand. Is this a good brand with being a daily driver, and no mods, except for full exhaust, and BFI? My other question is about the overflow tank. If the the new radiator has a cap and port for the overflow to go, do I need to use my factory overflow tank as well, or can I leave it off? It also has a small crack on top of it. If this does need to be replaced also, can I use another brand of overflow tank or brand? ANY IDEAS would be be appreciated. I have seen people use Honda Civic's overflow tanks in their SC's and Supra's.

 

You can use the overflow tank from a SC300 and mount it in the front. There will be a little modification needed. The level sensor inside needs to be modded in the SC300 one. The SC300 mounts in the front in the middle.REDPHOENIX did his that way since he got a larger radiator. If you want info on that ask him. I helped him with it ,but don't remember the minor details he knows.
