Alight so a few months ago my brother left his 400 parked outside his high school. Came back to see the front bumper scrapped and his front plate on the ground. Fast forward today and AGAIN AT SCHOOL, his friend was messing around going like 50 and hit his rear. The ridiculous thing is my brother was outside of his car, he wasnt even driving. And here is the damage:
front bumper looks almost this bad btw
cracked tail light
and even the muffler is damaged.
I have a question. I am going to get two estimates, when i give then to the person does he give me the money of the lower one or the middle point between the two?

Insurance isn't handling it? Usually the insurance just gives you the estimate based on either a preapproved facility or one of your choosing. As long as the insurance company's estimator approves.

well if we wanted to it could but the person who hit his car is his friend. Thats why i gotta know how the estimate system works. I would assume is the lower estimate plus the difference of the two.

If you guys are handling it on the side, then it works however you want it to work. You could just get one estimate and work out a price with the other guy since he is a friend. Btw.. the lower estimate plus the difference of the two would just be the higher estimate..
I'm assuming you meant the average as you stated in your previous post. But yea, like I said, you guys just need to work out a price both parties will agree on since insurance isn't involved and your bro's buddy has to pay out of pocket.
you sir are a very nice person if i watch someone rear end my sc id have a new 97+ rear bumper, 97+ rear tails, new exhaust and a new paint job and some money left over!!!

OMG LMAO, ROFL
scboy nah i dont need the 92 tails.
OMG, Sorry to see this..screww being a friend with the estimate, I would have let the Insurance handle it. What happens if the friend delays paying up or tries to get "his own" estimate lol! Seen this too many times....
