So I got hit this weekend in the quarter panel while i was driving in the city .

Now that the car will be getting repaired , I am looking to re-paint it , I cant stand this silver color.

I am looking for something really classy and eye catching . My first option is the RSP which is what got me hooked. I think it will look great with a black interior.


But i need help finding an EXCELLENT shop in the Metro NY Area .


Plus if you guys have any suggestions im thinking also

anyone able to photchop it to a different color?


Nighthawk Black from Honda with some bluish metallic flakes
Royal Sapphire Blue

I'm not sure if its really eye catching or anything but if i had to paint my car a different color it would be an obsidian color. Like dark Grey but not black.

edit: Subaru and Infiniti both have their versions of Obsidian. Maybe you should check it out to see if you like it.

 

Whats Obsidian ? Is that like a pearl effect?

 

Surprising you want to change color. I love that color.

My recommendation - Anthracite Targa (Supra color) is sick. If I were to paint my car I would definitely go with that.

What do you guys think of the 350 Z Blue ?

The house of kolors candy blue is just way too expensive

 

I'd go with a dark color or white if you want classy. 202 (black) is always good. That maroonish stock lex color (I forget what it's called) is amazing too.

 

the 350z blue is a boring shade imo..you would be better off with what Jeembo said..either the 202-Black Onyx, or the 3M9-Baroque Red metallic..me persoanlly if I was going to change from the 3K3 Garnet Pearl, I would go with the 3M9..i love that color

I would go with either the BMW alpine white (best white ever), or the Infiniti Graphite Grey! IMO, both would look amazing on the SC, the graphite grey would be much more unique and if you do the right rims and lighting, it would look amazing. My 2 cents.....

 

i'd have to agree with you there... BUT, if you ever have to get something touched up...it's a hell of a color to match perfectly FYI

I currently have two 2005 Acura vehicles both painted Nighthawk Black Pearl (B92P) paint code. I almost chose this color when I repainted my father's 98 SC400 but ended up choosing 98 Toyota Supra Quicksilver. I love it when it is clean, but keeping it clean is a major pain in the A$$.

subaru paint is no good. Nice colors though.

 

I had a black car soo im pretty used to the daily dusting lol


Seems that no one is going for the Bluish im a bit surprised .

I was also recommended a Gunmetal Titanium from the Lambo
