As you remember this guy was crazy about his price, now he is a little more realistic. He wants to trade me strait up for my 02 gs300. Is this car worth a strait trade if not what is it worth with a 1jz.

it makes him sound like he doesn't know what he's talking about. That would make me worried.

 

Haha thats funny but it helps. The other thing i noticed is it seemed like the car is pieced together, its missing the corner lights and centercaps. It also doesnt have exhaust??

 

f that, looks rigged. Check out the radiator pipe, If that looks like that I would be afraid of the turbo that he used, how the kit is mounted, and how well maintenance the car is. Plus the 02 GS is baller...

 

I would check it out and test drive it as well as bring a mechanic to do a prebuy inspection. The question is how much do you think you 02 is worth? I think more than that but i may be wrong.

 

 

400 hp on an automatic trans? Is that possible? I thought they could only hold like 350?? Maybe I read wrong....

 

I emailed him and asked about the trans who did the work is it guaranteed etc.

 

Dont do it that car is still way overpriced, 8 days and NO BIDS should tell you something. ive seen cleaner cars sell for less especially these days. You would be better off selling the GS and buying a clean car or throwing some boost on the GS.......

Well personally i wouldnt pay anything for it, its too ragged looking for me and i dont do 92-94's or tan interior anymore. I would rather get a CLEAN bone stock 97+ and mod it from there, but if i had to throw a price out id say these days somewhere near $6k which may seem low untill you go look in the FS section on here........

Man dont trade that clean GS for something like this or you will end up being sorry. If you want an SC get a clean one to begin with because here is some advice that will save you a LOT of money........its WAY cheaper to boost a clean car than it is to clean up a ragged boosted car......body and interior is the most expensive part of owning an SC if you start out with that clean you are WAY better off.

 

yea it looks slapped together swap wise. i wouldnt give him over $7000. atleast the swap is somewhat there and it its workable. i bet its not 400hp either. more like 300hp or so, no dyno numbers. didnt mention any proper tuning at all. i think he need to give money on top to trade really.

 

Yea, thanks guys im waiting for a response from him on those questions. If he wants to throw some cash on top i might concider it. Right now im looking to buy _Xplicit's car hell ill drop my pants on my car cuz i really want his car.
