Oh here comes the flames..
Soo, in a bit of a twist...and need either some good flaming or encouragement..Most of you have seen my SC300, and I love my car..but due to slow work and short funds, I have had to scrap any idea of going na-t or gte.
But I have been offered a straight trade for a 1G DSM that has the following:
Engne:
Rebuilt 3000 Miles ago with all new oil pump, water pump, timing belt tensioner, new alternator and belts
Hks 272 cams
crower dual valve springs and titanium retainers.
+1mm oversized valves with valve job
9.0:1 Pistons
Eagle Rods
Balanced stock crank
Arp Hardware Thoughout
Forced Performance 4" intake tube
2gMAF
760cc Injectors
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Stage 3 eprom Chip
Masterpower .50 Trim Turbo
Apexi SAFC
HKS EVC Boost Controller
Bushur FMIC
Bushur Coil on Plug Ignition
Autometer boost and oil pressure guage
AEM Wideband
Fluidyne Radiator
Flex-a-lite Dual Fans
Pioneer Premier CD player
3" Full Exhaust
ACT 2900 Cluch and Flywheel
Eibach Springs
KYB AGX Shocks
I know the guys that built the car, and have lots of respect for them...not to mention I have much respect for the 9 sec DD R32 one of them owns..Now dont get me wrong, I love my lex, but have a weak spot for AWD and DSM's..just need some advise from some fellow SC owners...would you do it?

note: the G37 is one of their new starting projects..cant wait to see it come together.

naw man dont do it. dsm's are nice n all but they aint kno lexus..jus keep the sc and leave it na until u have the funds to na-t it or gte cuz it will be well worth it trust me...and i have na-t stuff im selling now for extra cheap if u on a budget jus lmk
I'm not sure about the engine mods because I don't really know much about it, but that car is ugly IMO. Never liked it and never will. I rather drive your nice SC, though slow, but still eye candy.

very good point...lol
i had a gsx in the past that i ran 19psi on and it was just disgusting on the power...and yes they are ugly...very ugly
but i can see everyone point, and its exactly what i needed to hear..i guess the SC will stay and be built over time..
i always liked that body style dsm but if i had to choose i'd keep the sc. and think of it this way, you said times a hard and funds arent coming in so if you were to trade for this car as modified as you listed it is. sounds like a car that you would need some side money incase something happens that needs fixing. thats how i see it
Keep the SC! Ive had mine for a couple years with only suspension and exhaust. Im saving to go NA-T, slowly but surely. You know what they say, the best things are worth waiting for.
