well to make everyone feel more comfortable, i just sent a pm to 94_soarer for some na-t parts after running into some extra cash today..wont say how much, but its enough to start my build.
I washed the SC today, and realized that there is no way i can actually part with this car..so some new pics will be up soon with the new Levoc auto shifter (thanks again Mole if you read this) and once the parts start to come in, I will have a build thread up.
Out of every forum that I have ever been on, I have to say with out a doubt, the Lexus community is one of the most supportive. Thanks to all of you for talking me out of a dumb idea.

and just to update before I start a build thread, I picked up and SAFC2 today and the LS400 maf is coming in soon..still trying to decide on injectors, and having trouble finding a turbo..the only one I can find has a 1.32 exhaust a/r and a t-6 flange..
but some other parts will be coming in soon.
your rims are the exact color I want mine too...

Figure out what #'s you wanna make then decide on the turbo size and design a fuel system that will support it. Just be careful- if you wind up picking up a huge turbo you're gonna have to throw down the wallet to support it.

Hey man, I can find you a turbo cheap as hell.. just found a turbonetics ball bearing t76 last week for a buddy for 285$ 
and the tranny in my dsm has over 200k miles on it and held up to 428 all wheel horsepower for almost 2 years... they aren't weak, but any transmission can break when you launch it hard (especially an awd car)

I know it's a moot point now but for the $2k you're gonna need to drop on a John Shepherd transmission you can boost the SC. Dsm transmissions are made of glass. Now back to the present- I assume you're gonna run alphabet soup and get an AVCR to control your boost- not a bad combo but do not buy that turbo. I have a turbonetics you can use so I'll pm you about that. Be cautious when you buy your manifold so you don't waste your $$ buying something that'll put your **** in the strut tower.

Well I am getting a XS Power manifold, and I know I will be limited on space and will make sure its reinforced..And yes the AVC-R is on the list of items. I am not aiming for high numbers right now cause of the stock auto slush box, so at the most 8 psi or in the high 200 to low 300 hp range..The W58 swap will come later on..
I am doing this build on a bit of a budget, cause I am still factoring in the cost of LS brakes. But I do know that being on a budget does not allow me to be cheap, I do like to do things right the first time..so any suggestions as far as supporting mods would be great. I have been going through NA-t forums and found alot of information, but suggestions are always welcome

I would scrap the brakes to save $$. As for fuel- with the HP you want you aren't going to need much at all. I'd do the 440's but that's all stuff you already know. Alphabet soup=yea, good stuff- buy used! You know what- I know I'M gonna get flamed but I'd say buy darn near everything used and you can keep it CHEAP. Just go with reputable sellers who will be str8 about the condition of their stuff. I don't do knockoff and I wouldn't go with a knockoff wastegate because the diaphragm's are crap BUT you can get a knockoff HKS and change the diaphragm out. I just said the unmentionable- but if you wanna do it on uber-budget it can be done. The purists are gonna have a fit. You won't need a 5sp ecu when you do the swap- don't listen to any1 who tells you you do. I ran mine on the OBD2 auto for 6 months without a single issue. RPM and speed were right on.
I havent looked at craigslist for a turbo just yet, but I am working on one that I have been informed of..
