i would weld a pipe in there to make it a straight pass through. With the Cat opening and closing you will get a little bit of turbulence. Just my .02 if you want the straight pipe...

Cant do that, brake tag inspection stations check that the cat exists, but not if its functioning, so the case has to stay. It actually sounds really cool how the cat acts as a resonator now.

 

gotcha on the visual. I meant inside the cat...so you would pass the visual but not have the turbulence...but if you want it to act as the resonator then gotcha...

 

ahhhh gotcha, yeah, i really like how it sounds acting as a resonator, it makes the exhaust tone "flicker" under acceleration. Its unique.
