Default '95 SC300 with Supra paint code?

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forums and just picked up my SC300 a couple weeks ago. As the title states, my car apparently is Baltic Blue Metallic (paint code 752) from a Supra. I was trying to order paint but could not find this paint code listed on any Lexus vehicle. It's actually on the door jam sticker as 752 so I'm pretty certain it's not a re-spray. Has anybody ever run into this before? I like the color a lot so I'm going to re-spray the same color but always like to do my research before going into things.

Thanks!

Ted, first off welcome to CL... Next, it sounds like your SC was sprayed a factory Toyota color (paint code 752) and the sticker on the door jam, is used a paint reference-that actual color came on the 94 Toyota Supra. You could go to a body shop and look thru their paint catalogue...look up 1994 Supra colors-it should be there.

Odd situation, but try ordering it from Toyota. If it's an OEM Supra color, I'm sure Toyota will carry it.

as far as those stickers go, you cannot get them from the dealer.....god knows, i went through hell and back to get one for my 96 and you cant even get them from the factory...So, if the sticker with the color/trim and axle codes says 752 thats what you got from the factory...although I have seen resprays with a sticker that has the new paint code. Is this what you are referring to?

Baltic Blue (Toyota) and Midnight indigo pearl 8J5 (Lexus) aren't to far off. look up www.toyotareference.com I think. It will have all the paint codes and examples for you.

Damn, maybe its a rare color, would be worth looking into.....try contacting lexus and register on lexus.com and see what color it says after you enter the vin.

I tried posting earlier but my posts won't show up. The tag does have the 752 paint code and I registered on Lexus' web site and it is indeed the color they have listed. Weird. I had no idea you could custom order something like this. Anyone else ever find this?

Alright, I have a couple pics but they're not that great.

Side view.

Supra rims and brakes for no good reason.

Close up.

I'll check the cup holder thing this weekend and I'll try and get a picture of the tag with the paint code.
