that oil filter sandwich plate has a thermostat built into it. you can run a cooler as well. this allows you to warm up the oil faster. when it reaches 80*C it opens up and circulates through the cooler as well.

its made by MOCAL. they sell for about 60 bucks on average.

Firm MOCAL makes sandwich plate has a thermostat at +80 º C, but there is no slot for the installation of the sensor tempratury oil. I have done in the sandwich plate MOCAL slot for installing the sensor tempratury oil.

The SC300 has a plethora of mods available depending on your power goal. The majority of the guys on this forum have stuck to bolt ons, piggy-back fuel controllers and ECU's or going big with stand alone units for the FI guys. The extent of your gains is only truly limited to your budget.

Personally, I probably try to figure out what direction I want to take my SC in. Do you want big power (ie, NA-T, 1JZ/2JZGTE swap, etc etc) or a moderate boost. Bolt-ons such as Intake, Header and exhaust can definitely help you out. In that case, SEARCH is your best friend on this forum as this is a topic that's been covered time and time again. Dear Soarer AZ - hello.
A sincere thank you for the friendship and an explanation to me of my delusions.
You write: «I doubt you'll find any actual solid / quality solder based chips for an SC300». Your doubts are confirmed.
In Russia (Moscow http://www.upsolute.ru/) Austrian company «Absolute» has informed me that the 2JZ-GE - no chips.
I Rent my question.
Once again, thank you. The weighted summary based on the knowledge and experience.
Sincerely yours, Vadim.
