Default Alternator replaced : A little tip

Well yesterday my alternator took a dump. Everything went dead and it sucked. I started at 11:00 am and took till 2 simply cause i never do any major work to cars and i work slowly to avoid breaking stuff.

The number one problem i had was getting the thing out of the engine bay.
After countless times of trying to remove it through different areas i finally realized that if i just removed the belt tensioner pulley that it comes right out with ease. Thats all you need to remove so dont touch anything else. I tried removing countless hoses above and below.

I don't know if this has been covered but just decided to post it as advice for anyone that is going to attempt it on their own!

It was a very simple job actually and would definately say Do It Yourself.

I used http://www.lextreme.com/alternator.html as a guide. It says once loose just pull it out the bottom. Well it is not that simple at all. That would be my only complaint on the guide.
