Cigarette Lighter Does not work

I had a portable air compressor plugged into my lighter, it was working fine, but after about 10mins it stopped working. I plugged my phone charger to the lighter and it will not work. I checked the fuse on the side panel and it's fine, yet I replaced it.. I heard that there is another fuse below the cigarrette lighter. How do I get the lighter out so I can see what's behind it. Oh yeah, the vehicle is a 95 SC400...

Check the fuses first. If not ,you guys burned some wires from overload.Thats the only thing that comes to mind.

I checked the fuse and it was fine, but still I replaced the fuse... 15amp on sidekick panel

fuseable link on the back of the cig lighter itself, replace the stock washer with a regular steel washer and it should solve the problem. do a search on it worked out for me
