Default phone holder in console removal?

Tried the search button with no luck, wondered what is the best way to go with the phone holder in the console removal? I know Ive heard diff. people talk about getting rid of it in the past.

So I finally got it out of my way, remove 4 screws then 4 more cut the coax wire and tape. Now theres a small square hole in the bottom to cover, Im sure I can find something adhesive.

Im guessing you have the same one as I do.

You can't activate it because it's analog. Some parts in Canada still use analog, but will not work at all in the U.S. I made a lady do a double-take when I was holding it up to my ear

So glad after 3-yrs. I took the 8 screws out and now have 35% more console room. Im thinking black super adhesive duct tape to cover the leftover hole.

Do these phones have a hands free option? If so, were would the microphone be located?

you can activate it if you want Verizon wireless. They are one of the few service providers left that still offer analog service..the coverage is junk, and monthly fees arent high, but really kind of pointless.

give them a call

Is that only if you have the phone option, or is it in all the SCs? I wouldn't mind interfacing it with my car computer
