Wheel size question
Hey all,
I'm looking to upgrade the wheels on my 97 sc300. I've read a ton of posts here and learned a boatload about wheel fitment, but I still am a bit of a newbie so I want to check if some wheels will fit & look decent on my baby.
I found a good deal on this set of wheels & tires:
19x8.5 225 45 19 front offset 20
19x9.5 245 40 19 rear offset 25
My tire calculator says they will stick out 1.2 & 1.4 inches farther than my current stock wheels. To far? I do not want the "skateboard" look, just want to fill out the wells more.
What do the experts (you guys) think?
Thanks!

Not really an expert but 1.2" to 1.4" more outward from a factory wheel offset seems like it MIGHT work and be fine. That offset of 20 to 25 seems to be what I see a lot of people going with. But this is just my guess and opinion and would prefer someone else to chime in and confirm before you go with this wheel. I would check the Official Wheel & Tire Fitment Guide for SC300/SC400 for more info.

Nice link. I have read through the wheel fitment sticky here many times and I never found that. I ended up with 19x8.5 offset 38. no tires yet.
Thanks for the help.
