help swaping cluster from 300 to 400.
I picked up a 94 sc300 cluster for a great price, but i have a 92 sc400. I know there are some issues with the tach. I have been doing my research and i found out that a ressiter need to be eather changed or overidden. But problem is i dont know what the hell it is..lol. Also my car has a auto trans and when i push on the buttom to place it in gear, as soon as i push it the climate control shuts off. That started with this cluster. Does that ressistor cause that too? In my research i found alot of people talking about it but, yet im too stupid to understand. Maybe, just maybe there is some one here to can make a dumb man understand.. please help.

There is no reason it shouldn't work. i have a SC400 cluster in my 300.
Just change out the tachometer and possibly the backplate (the plastic piece with the actual numbers on it) because the SC400 has more lights available, and it should work like stock.
You don't need to jump any resistors, as the circuit boards are identical between the two cars. the tach itself work differently. All other gauges should be fine.
