Just pull on it kinda hard.

spray it with some pb blaster or wd40 and push it off with a long enough screw driver.

Its easier to unbolt it then remove the muffler from the rubber thingys

Thanks for the help guys. Got the muffler off after a mighty pull
. Sounds great without the mufflers.

I didn't even need a screw driver after spraying it with wd-40.
