Sc 400 has been located!!!
Folks,
After many months of searching online, I have finally located my dream 400. The car is being sold by a sweet old lady, which is the original owner. Here are the stats: 1998 SC400..52K..PRICE 12K..FIRM..CLEAN CARFAX REPORT. I have checked the blue book value, it's $11,400.
Now, am I paying too much for this car?? I really need some feedback from the SC community.
This unit is in pristine condition, it has been garage kept since new. The car also has a full service record from Lexus.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, I am ready to close this deal.

Offer 11,500, she's old and its just a 100 more dollars. Since these cars are getting harder and harder to find i think it's worth it, especially with the really low miles. Whats the color combination?
For a 98 sc400 @ 52k thats is reasonable, but comparing other sc's the price tag is high.
Although 98 has most of the upgrades, it still uses the bulky 4 spoke steering wheel.
If its a black interior then its another reason it'd be a good buy (highly desired by most).
Also, most used cars sell below blue book.
There is always discussion about "should i buy this car" but its all up to you.

I'd be all over it. My '99 SC3 had 74k miles and I was happy to get it for 13k (reduced from 17k). It too was/is in pristine condition. Course, that was from a dealer (kbb 13,600). According to kbb on the one you're looking at, private party is 11,600 and dealer is 13,700 - totally reasonable to get it for 12 imo.
