Hello,
The driver interior door handle on my sc400 has broken. I have been putting the key between the spring and what is left of the door handle to pry it open. It actually works pretty well. But I want to fix it correctly. Has anyone replaced this part? If so, is it a major pain, or is it fairly straight forward? I have been searching for a thread that covers this, but no luck so far.

Common problem.

Search (Door Handle Fix) or (DIY) should turn up a few threads on how to fix it right.

 

i did the same thing a while back, just get a new door handle, have to remove the interior panel to do it though

I just fixed mine like a week ago lol. Just get a new handle from a junkyard or something, remove the door panel and replace it. It took me like 15 min and I had never done it before.
