Default Removing Exterior Door Handle/Keylock

Guys,

Anyone know how to do this? I got one side off but can't work out how to get access to the other side to get it off... I am replacing the exterior door handle/lock.

Thanks,
Jonny

Jonny, You took off the interior door panel, right?
just take off everything in your way and you will be able to take out the handle, I already called and confirmed with my mechanic friend who works on SCs, and that's exactly what he told me...

Andy,

I had the door panel off and have perfect access to one of the bolts holding the exterior handle on. However, I have no access to the other side where I am guessing there is another bolt holding it in place...

Any ideas?

i just had my door apart to fix my regulator, and i thought about removing the handle to get easier access. it looks difficult because the window rail is in the way.
you need to remove the lower torx screw on the window rail and kind bend it out of the way to get a socket in there. i am not positive this will work but the rail is definately in the way and you can move it to a certain degree with the screw removed. or get one of those flexible ratchet deals. good luck
