how do you know when your o2 sensor is gone?

my car is hesitating just slightly on the take off...; i got new plugs, new oil, all new fluids, etc. Could it possibly be my o2?

 

could be.....if they are bad sometimes they cause you to have bad air fuel ratios...also check your maf (mass airflow) clean it

 

If your o2 sensor is bad it will through a code. Not likely o2 sensor.

 

It could also be a TPS sensor as well. Clean the MAF first as that is usually the most vunerable to the elements and the easiest to fix. A missing 02 sensor will almost immediatley throw a code when it "goes missing"

 

but mines a 93' OBD1. my cars starting to get ****ty gas mileage, 200 miles last fill up. can i use a multi-meter to check o2 sensors?

 

take it to autozone they will check it for you no charge
