Default HID light performance

I did a search for this on the forum and came up empty.

I was looking for HID sources and prices the other day. Very spendy topic. Then I happened on to a site that sells Chinese HID lights for $80 each. The bulbs ARE GUARANTEED FOR A YEAR AND THE POWER SUPPLY COMES WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY. (hit cap locks by mistake) Has anybody got any info on this product. I lost the site but it is easily found with a HID search.

Thanks,
John

Welcome to the CL John. There is a whole forum dedicated to lighting. But one of the main things you will learn is that an Xenon retrofit is far more effective than purchasing a "plug 'n' play" kit. The projectors inside of SC's headlights where not designed for that type of light output. They have a tendency to unevenly dispurse light. Use the search button and you will find a wealth of information on this topic.

Over a year now on my $75 ebay china pnp kit and the bulbs are still good. I think JohnEd's been a member for quite a while now (re: the welcome).
