95 sc4 questions
Ok my names DuPree i joined CL a few weeks ago after buying both a SC3 and SC4 my problem is with the SC4 i got the car for 650 with a blown head gasket and an interior that leaves much to be desired. the car is for my dad hes old school so i figured the V8 would be to his likeing. i wanna know first do yall think i got a good deal. Also i only got one key which i think is the valet key it works everthing but not the factory alarm i wanna know is there a way to get a key with the rmote thats will work my car. Id like to say im a member of many different forums but none of them are as helpful as this these are my first lexuses but im sure they wont be my last. thanx in advance

well welcome to the club and yea anything for 650 that is not crashed is a good deal. The key you can get them with no remote just go to the dealer and get a master key with no logo and no remote function ir should only be about 50-60 to cut it n everyhitng or you can get a key off ebay and take it to a lock smith that deals with cars...GL and post some pics

659 is a steal of a price but you have to wonder what else is really wrong with it. If it's just the ead gasket then that is a steal. And you can get the full key at the dealer but its gonna cost alot i'v heard anywhere from 250 to 400 dollars after key programming. It would just be better to get an aftermarket alarm with autostart. You can find those for about the saem price.
