Default need help purchasing an 92 sc300!

any common issues i should look for? this car is pearl white with 108k miles. it looks to be very well maintained... current owner is the second owner and has had the car since 2005, he had bought the vehicle from the original owner which lived in hawaii when he first bought the car. original owner shipped it to the states in 2003. anyhow would like some advice on what i should look out for. common things i notice and question is, is it normal to find an sc300 without a sunroof? this ones does not come with it, nor does it come with TRAC? normal? also i noticed it have side door guards, im not sure if i ever seen an SC with door guards..... looks oem... but i noticed the pearl white body was extremely clean but im pretty good with looking out for over spray, and flaws and i just couldnt find anything so im a bit sure its oem paint but its still a bit unbelievable for its year. another question ive got is...... can those door guards be removed easily? thanks for the input guys.... will be putting a deposit later today or tomorrow if all is well but would like some input first and reexamine the car before then.

getting an sc without a sunroof is rare. TRAC is a factory option. do you have pics of these door guards?

Wierd ... no sunroof. I've seen so few SCs without a SR.

Yes, those door guards have got to go. They are probably glued on with adhesive. Removing them may be as easy as using a new razor blade and a heat gun (not too hot).

How much was the car?

Your SC is a factory race car with no sunroof. It didnt have cloth or anything did it? Cars like that tend to be made to order.

There are a few SC300s out there without the moonroof, it is pretty rare, I think most of them were 92, the first year of introduction Lexus built the car with Basic options!
