Default car won't start

Hello guys, I'm having some difficulties starting my car.
I own a 1995 sc400, and for some odd reason when I went to my car to start it up this morning it wouldn't start. All my dashboard lights were on. Last night when I parked it, I turned off the headlights, the radio, and etc before I left the car. However, when I went inside my car this morning all the dashboard lights were on, including the (replace the taillight lights, engine lights, and etc). Usually when we insert our keys, the steering wheel comes down and the dashboard lights turn up. However, the steering wheel didn't move down and the dashboard lights were already lit even before i inserted the key. When I started the ignition, there were clicking noises, and at first I thought the battery was out of juice (but the batteries were fine). The alarm wouldn't work but the alarm went off when I opened up the hood and it made a alarm noise that I never made before (i have a aftermarket hornet alarm). If anyone can give me information on what I could do to check and fix this problem before I tow it and bring it to a service shop it would be very helpful.

I need to go to work ,

^ clicking sounds from starter? Either the battery is low or starter is bad. Not sure why your dash lights were on after removing the key.

you might have developed a short that is keeping the dash lights even with the keys out, possibly in the ignition relay. It sounds like those lights just drained the battery out. With electrical issues there usually isn't any way to tell what is wrong until you dig into the wiring. Good luck.

If you hear clicking sound when you try to start it, it sounds like your battery is out. replace a battery and see whats up.
