Default Crashed my sc300

Hey guys, had a pretty bad accident. to keep a long story short normally my abs light is always on and at least with my car thats how i know the brakes are working because whenever it is off the brakes are virtually useless.

so i was going way to fast up a straightaway extremely tired coming from a friends house and i heard a weird vibrating coming from the rear of the car and i kinda zoned out looking down while listening to it and my buddy warned me the intersection was way close i stomped and the brakes and they were non existant.

mind you it wasnt a normal intersection it was a T so basically i hit a tree full speed 55+ no brakes.

i was so rattled by the accident i walked all the way home immediatly cause i couldnt find my phone. i called the police and they informed me i need to come in at 10 pm monday because thats when the officer who was on the scene after i left starts again. The officer on duty called me and asked me a few questions told me they would just fine me.
i have some sick feeling they will try to lock me up.

but my question is how well do our frames hold up under such a front on collision? because i really need to keep something from the car so i can either buy an old sc and drop my engine with only 97k in it
OR
repair my existing one. but at that speed i kinda doubt my frame is very straight anymore.

Oh wow that sucks to hear man. But it sounds like you got out ok which is most important. Yea that collision sounds pretty bad so it seems pretty hard to salvage the car. I say just get what parts you need from the interior/ rear and just part it out so you have some cash to get another sc. Would they really lock you up if it technically was your car's fault and not your's for the accident?

Good luck with everything, I wish you the best.

Im sorry to hear about your accident. I am however glad to hear that you were able to make it home alright. I strongly agree that the SC is very prone to an accident if your ABS light is on. I dont recommend anyone really drive with it disabled. Do you have any pictures of how the car turned out? Maybe we can see if there is anything you can salvage which I highly doubt. I dont think there would be any reason for Nevada police to arrest you for getting into an accident unless there was another vehicle involved or you were driving under the influence. If you took out any property that may belong to the city then you will get a fine. Good luck.

I highly doubt the car is still repairible. Also did you try using the handbrake?

If you hit a tree head on at 55 mph i think the front is totalled. Need some pics to be sure though.

Salvage what you can the frame is gone if it was a head on crash. Good thing you walked away from it. You will feel the pains usually 2 days after the accident happens. The sore muscles will kick in. There goes another SC.....
