Hey I need a new clutch and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this clutch: F1 RACING STAGE 1 CLUTCH 89-98 SUPRA NT / LEXUS SC300. This clutch is selling on Ebay for $91 and $18 for shipping. Does anyone know it this clutch is good or if its trash? Does anybody have any feedback?
Thanks

I agree, sounds like garbage. What mods do you have? If you're stock and planning to stay N/A, I would recommend the Centerforce Dual Friction Stage 1. It's great for N/A power levels, drives like stock and holds great. Its holding up fine behind my 1jz so far, but once I start making much more power, I have a feeling its going to start to go.
you could get a OEM clutch kit pretty cheap. if your on a budget like me you could re-use the pressure plate and just throw a new disc and bearings in there. mylexusparts has a clutch disc for i think 60-80 bucks?
It is trash, don't even bother wasting your money on it. I love my centerforce dual friction, feels just like stock. I don't know why people think it can't hold power. I was at 309rwhp for about a 1 1/2 years. I have been at around 400rwhp for a year and it is just now starting to slip.

if youre on stock power and not looking to upgrade any time soon get the exedy stock replacement off ebay. i bought mine on ebay. it was cheap and holds up great. i have had it for 2 years now and 2 seaons of drifting and, knock on wood, havent even showed a sign of wear yet. oh and i already put about 35000 miles on it since i put it in.

Yeah my 95 sc300 is stock and I plan on keeping it stock for at least two years untill i graduate from college, then Ill go 2jzgte...... so it seems to me that exedy is the way to go huh?
With that being said, Clutch Masters Stage 1 will also be a sound replacement.
