Default question about origin-lab kits

for anyone running origin-lab sides..

exactly how low are the sides? say you were going slow over a rail road track or something, and something DID scrape, what would hit first, the side skirts, or the frame more twards the middle of the car?

i ask because my car is as low as it can possibly go on tein SS coilovers and 18's. i feel like oem sideskirts wont be low enough, but origin-labs might be too low.

BUT i hardly ever scrape the bottom of my car... so if the sideskirts are higher or equal lenth to the bottom.. i should be fine. it will be low, but i can manage.

also, i'll only be using the sides and rear.

if you are slammed then get stock sides. the origin ones will not be practical for any type of street/daily use. they will barely slip a pack of smokes between the ground and the side skirt.

you only need agressive sides if you dont daily the car, it is on 20's, and not really slammed.

what part of the body are we talking about tho? i realize they are lower then the stock jacking points, (the two little creases one the front and back under the rocker) BUT if you look under that, and further twards the middle, you'll see that the frame hangs down alot lower then that. about two and a half inches maybe.

so my theory was that, if the kit is even or higher then that, i wouldn't have problems, because i never really scrape that.

i'm just in a bind because i want my tires tucked and poked, and oem seems too high. but i guess that's what i have to go with.
