is this a suspension problem? noise while turning
Whenever I turn my wheel to the right to turn it makes this ERRRRRRRRR noise. I checked to see if the tire was rubbing, but it's not. So I w as just wondering if anyone had something like this before and knows what it might be?
Bump. Having the same problem. Anyone ever figure anything out on this? I really don't want to replace my steering rack if it's not the culprit.

Has any of you tried lifting the front tires up and does the noise still appear or does there have to be weight on the wheels? I would lean toward a wheel bearing or a tie rod, lower ball joint, or sway bar link busted or cracked. Just something to look for while you have it jacked up.
i thought about the tie rod too. I'm really hoping thats it. A friend of mine owns a shop and imma drop it off tuesday to let him look at it. As expensive as parts are for our cars, i like to get a professionals input before i start buying parts.
and mine isn't just when i turn all the way to the right. its every time i turn right no matter how far.

has anyone figured this out? my beater is making the errrrr noise when turning 80-100% left at lower speeds. would the seals alone cause this? its like a metal on metal errrrr noise. it had play in the steering, so i put in the daizen bushings.
now steering is tight but didnt help the noise any.
**edit: fixed it by topping off power steering fluid. (half way is not enough)**
