Throwing up a new to see what people are wanting/planing to do to their cars during the offseason/winter since its getting colder and such. Me I'm going to be the owner of a 95 sc300 which I am getting tomarrow and this will be my first lexus. It has 140,000 on it. I am very exited about getting it and starting this project. The last car I had was a 96 eclipse turbo with a built motor. And before that was a b16 del sol, which I really miss. Things I know i want fix when I get it are passenger window regulator, windshield, detail interior, sunroof glass has crack so I'm going to fix that. By next season I want to have a front lip, nice set of rims, intake, exhaust, white paint job, tints. It would be real nice if I can have a 5spd/6spd swap and a twin turbo or a single turbo swap. I really want the 5pd/6spd to be in most of all this offseason. So whats everyone else got planned for the offseason?

 

So before anyone says it........ SC330, what?

Sheeeat, winter is the best time to drive my SC in AZ so my plans are to drive the hell out of it.

 

ive got an oil change, front lip install, and maybe trunk shock replacement on my list. oh and some rock chip touch-ups! gotta keep the stock queen looking beautiful

 

i'm putting a lexus bra on it, snow tires, and hoping for the best!

suspension + new tires

 

If you keep a bra on it all winter, make sure you clean behind it every night, or dirt buildup behind it will scratch the paint.

 

O yea I def want to do some suspension. Still lookin for what I want still tho.

 

Had to scrape ice off my windows today

My SC goes away for a PT cruiser in 2 weeks, unfortunately. But at least I'll get decent gas mileage. Over the winter I want to pick up a set of Vertex clear corners, and new oem floormats. I should replace my trunk shocks. They work fine in the summer, but my trunk won't stay up in these temperatures. Just spent a few hundred on brake pads, all new fluids, alignment, etc. As soon as spring comes around first priority is a new front bumper. Taking things slowly and keeping it stock-ish for now.

left shock is leaking
valve cover gasket
with as many Supra parts , i hope like all of them will b compatible
and then in the spring or summer will c about the engine lol
i know i know why dont i get another one or sell it cause i love my car
!!!

 

the SC goes in the garage and hopefully i'll get my 97 kit, 19's and coils this winter, this is when the Tahoe comes out ..even though its still on its summer 20's..
