Default 1jz, 2jz,

Here is some pictures of Big HP motors in work...

Orange one is 1JZGTE going into Vertex widebody FD.

Purple one is 2JZGTE going into the drag MKIV.

I am waiting for parts to build my 2JZGTE with single Turbo and more...

wow thats one of the rare sights...a running FD.

if you people spend so much money on a "real" performance motor why not make sure it will never go dry on oil. do a dry sump.

A kid who lives around here's FD runs just fine...though he did buy it on a 2nd motor. There's also another one pushing crazy power, but I believe she has put a 10th motor in to it LOL

My TT rotary fd has been running fine for years. They just don't like being overheated or detonated which lead to disasters for a turbo rotary. It's all in the tuning.

I also have Race ported (third engine for charm) FD with T-88.
Highly modified FD is all about tuning and regulating the engine temp.

Then again, my Z32TT does not want to run hot either....

The Orange FD also has built engine with T-88.
The engine + x-mission is going into RX-8.
That is going to be fun!

You should get one and drive it like there is no tomorrow.
It's totally different feeling than driving SC or Z.
Try it, you will love it.

My FD ran fine. I bought it with a blown motor and had it rebuilt and full-bridgeported by Ray Wilson(owner of PFSupercars) at PFSupercars and the car made 617rwhp and 471rwtq. Never lost the motor. I just sold the car when I was ready to buy something else. Hence the SC300 with the 2JZGTE and 6speed swap that's now in progress.

Dee E.

PS. To the original poster, nice looking FD.

Man, you will regret selling your FD later.
My motor was built in Canada. I am only boosting 15 psi on T-88.
That's fast enough for now.
Good luck with your swap.
