Default '96 SC300 Intakes??? Will a 92-95 work?

Looking to buy an intake for a 96 SC300 and searching for intakes, I see only 92-95 sc300s are listed. I've heard that something with vehicle emissions...that manufacturers like injen will not list the 96's. Will the 92-95 Injen short ram air intake for my 96 work?

Thank you for your help...I'm kind of dumb when it comes to engines.

It has to do with the new MAF setup installed on OBDII vehicles. I don't think the MAF will slide on to the Intake piping without modifying it. Either way, don't waste you're money on it and fab up your own intake.

I wish they could come out of the water alive and give them a high five lol. This ugly seal of some kind can go back in the water.
