is it worth $3000?
1992 Lexus Sc300 5speed5speed lexus sc300 for sale with 196xxx miles.
This car is in good shape for its year. Leaks alittle oil because of its old valve cover seal, but its an easy fix. Too lazy to fix it. This car is my daily driver so that saids alot. also open to trade for a 2000 and up sportsbike

196k miles? you think thats alot? haha, thats considered low miles by some here, its about the same as my 400 is and its running like a champ, check out that title and look into the oil leak, id try for 2500ish on the price. welcome to CL

Not worth $3000 . Reason being that it is a 300 and it has near 200k on it. You need to check and see if it had any service history on it. Something that old many things can go wrong. Ugly rims don't like those. It is manual which I like ,but it depends if it grinds gears or not. Interior looks clean ,but tan gets dirty real quick. Say $2200 on that car

What do you mean bad mechanics? You mean mechanical issues? If so there isn't that much that goes wrong with the 2j's. The basic stuff like oil pan gaskets and transmission gaskets go out if not serviced. Like with any vehicle over time the alignment goes out. Make sure all the fluids look clear and there isn't chunks floating around in the coolant. Make sure there aren't any wheel bearing roaring noises when you test drive the car. Basic items I guess. Ask for a specific area that you have a question in then I can help ya out.

only you can make the call.i found a 95 sc 300 this weekend 11 months to late.200k on it but it's a five speed they want 2100 for it problem with the clutch i was told.i left after that, the five speed was getting to tempting.i guess i'll have to go drive the matrix xrs hard today that's the only stick time i get now.have a mechanic check it out before you buy.
