I've seen an SC on 20s before. I know it'll rub for sure unless you roll the fenders or put a gfx kit on.

I have seen this question a few times and I haven't seen a response from someone whose put 20's on their lex( I would really like to know because I'm planning on buying 20's in the next month or two). I'd like to know if anyone had rubbing problems with 20X8.5s? Also if they had rubbing with the same rims with their SC lowered an inch to an inch and a half. Thanks.

I have 20x8.5's all around, and it's lowered 1 inch with an Eibach Prokit. It rubs the plastic wheel well liner, and only when I am backing out of my driveway. You can take this plastic off if you want. As for the lowering, when I put the 20s on my car it felt like it was raised a little, so the Eibachs evened it out. I'd like to put it next to a stock SC400 and see if there is a big difference in height.

Most gfx kits flare out, and the rubbing occurs on the fender that rolls inward. My friend has 20s on his GS and they rubbed when he turned the wheel until he put an L-sportline kit on it.

Thanks james for the response. Did they rub on tight turns or every turn? Could you clarify what your tire specs are too?

They rub on tight turns, but this could be resolved by taking the plastic inner fender wall out. My tires are 245/35/20.
