Have anyone here try to to put a JDM L package digital cluster into a USDM SC300? Like this one in pic



Anyone having issue with it? plug and play in US car? The cluster in my SC is dead I was thinking about picking one of these up..

I just search but couldn't find real result.. so i take that no one make it work in the US car... guess i have to fix my cluster..

 

I still want that cluster in my car...

 

does this cluster only come for auto sc's? thts like s2000 ish but its hot.

 

i believe there has to be some for manual, as they are for foreign usdm sc's, and im pretty darn sure, the manuals arent all in the us lol. i always wanted one of these too. with enough work and electical smarts, im sure it can be done. and hopefully shared if you find any info, let us know!

 

i'm curious too, can anyone point me to the thread for this cluster. im wondering what kind of input signal it needs to make it work.

 

meh, I like the USDM one better

 

If it was updated it would look sweet...however it look like it came out of a deloran.

 

Do you really want blinking dash displays and parts not to display at the worst possible times? Its only really nice when it works...when it wants to.

If I could be bothered to figure out how to make a US display work in a soarer I'd do that.

The digital display gets old when you have to warm your car up for the winter and you can't tell how much gas or if its warmed up enough cause that part of the display doesn't work. Or how fast your going cause the speed and tach stopped working... I could go on.

Just be glad you have a US display.

 

i had this working in my car with the soarer interior harness and other mods but removed it because the USDM matched the defi gauges better

 

I think you are the only person I've ever heard of getting the cluster to work. Happen to have any pics???

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if someone had pics of it not functioning.

 

it's a clean cluster, but should you find one or figure out how to get it to work-it's going to cost you a arm and leg should something break digital wise...but hey, keep us informed...something to think about?
