Yeah, basically it's his entire A/C system (lines, condensor, compressor, evap, heater core) Pretty much everything, uninstalling from his vehicle, uninstalling my old system and reinstalling his system into my SC and recharging the compressor.

That'd be a total of $700 for parts and $300 for all labor.

I dunno man, the parts may well be worth $700 but considering that he's already been compensated for them in a way that sounds kinda like double dipping to me. I don't care about the insurance company, they're not gonna lose regardless, but fair is fair, once the guy accepts a settlement the car and everything in it belongs to the insurance company, unless he's buying it back for the salvage price of course. If he's not buying it back then he's basically stealing the parts that he's already been paid for and then selling them to you for top dollar, is that fair? I mean you can't expect them for free but how about the guy saying hey, I pretty much got these parts for free since I already got a settlement for them, let's split the value of them, that way you both come out a little ahead?
