I have a wiring question.


Is the center console wiring different on the SC400 as to the SC300?

I am working a radio swap.

This is a wiring dilemma and not an audio dilemma.

My wiring behind where the climate control, radio, and ash tray go has:

ORANGE plug
GREEN plug
WHITE plug
GRAY plug.

Two SC400's that I have been to have the same plugs that I do

PLUS

a BROWN plug

My car DOES NOT have the brown plug. On the 92 SC400, the brown plug's wires go backwards to the rear of the center console.


As per my radio thread in the audio section, I have two SC400 radios. one happens to be a 92 NON nakamichi radio

My hard wired plugs do not match up to the 400 non Nak radio.


Can someone confirm that the 92 300 wiring is different to the 92 400 wiring?
